This healthy, nutritious, lactose and dairy free recipe is packed with fiber, protein ,and lots of other vitamins and minerals. This dessert is simply heaven! This hearty and satisfying chocolate brownie recipe would be great if your trying to lose weight, or maintain a healthy weight. I hope you try and like this recipe.
What you will need and how to make it…
-One cup pitted dates (pre soak if needed)
-1/2 cup of Cashews (or what ever nuts you have on hand)
-1/4 cup pecans
-2 TBS of unsweetened coco powder (I use Hershey’s)
-1 TSP Vanilla Extract
-Shredded coconut flakes and pecans for garnishing
Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor. Blend until the mixture is evenly mixed. The consistency should be sticky but moldable. Spread the mixture into a small glass baking dish and chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Cut the brownies and garnish with chopped nuts and shredded coconut.
